Dog Walking Agreement

Dog Walking

Your dog will be collected from your home and walked on the agreed days. Walkies with Jessie reserve the right to walk other dogs at the same time, but the total number of dogs walked at once will not exceed 6. This does not apply to customers who pay for Solo Walks.

All owners are required to give Walkies with Jessie a key to their home for the use of collecting and returning your dog. Please be assured that this key will be used for no other purpose and will be kept safe and returned to the customer on demand. Any keys left out at the owners home address is at their own risk. 

Where a dog flap is fitted, it is the owner’s responsibility to ensure that the garden and its fences are secure. It is not Walkies with Jessie responsibility to check this before leaving your dog following a walk/pop in.

All dogs must have up to date vaccinations and microchip details. 

Please note that under the Control Of Dogs Act 1992, all dogs must wear a collar and an identity tag in a public place with the tag detailing the owner's information.

All owners are required to fill out a Customer Contact Form detailing you and your dogs details.  

Your Dog

I understand and agree that in admitting my dog, that Walkies with Jessie has relied on my representation that my dog is in good health and has not harmed or shown aggression or undue threatening behaviour toward any person or any other dog. I further agree to notify Walkies with Jessie of any unwelcome, aggressive or dangerous behaviour of my dog that has potential to cause harm to any other pet or individual. 

I understand that whilst my dog is walking with Walkies with Jessie, they will be walked with other owners’ dogs and that Walkies with Jessie will have assessed these in terms of behaviour and temperament. I further understand that during normal dog play, an owner’s dog may sustain injuries. All dog play is carefully monitored to avoid injury, but scratches or other injuries may occur despite the best supervision. I understand that I am responsible for the medical treatment of any injury or illness that my dog receives whilst under the care of Walkies with Jessie and I agree to pay all vet care and costs that may arise due to the injury or illness.

I understand that should my dog attack/be involved in a dog fight with another dog/person, causing injury to that dog/person, that I the owner am responsible for any losses incurred as a result including (but not limited to) payment of vet fees in respect of injuries to another animal caused by the owners dog. 

I am happy for my pet to be used in photo and video footage and to be used in social media/website/advertising without prior approval by me.

Insurance

Walkies with Jessie are covered by business public liability insurance which includes Care, Custody and Control. 

Insured by Protectivity which covers Dog Walking, Pet Sitting, Pet Boarding, Pet Minding, Pet Taxi, Pet Transportation and much more.

Charges and Cancellation Policy

Walkies with Jessie charge hourly rates for dog walks, 15 minute, 30 minute and hourly charge for pop in visits and nightly charge for house sitting.

Should you need to cancel a walk/pop in visit please let me know in advance. If cancelled within 24 hours of the walk/pop in there will be a 100% charge of the walk/pop in price. 

House sitting will be at least 7 days notice. A charge will be payable due to the last minute cancellation. 

Off Lead Walking

If you are happy for your dog to be walked off lead (in a safe environment) please sign below. 

I am happy for my dog to be walked off lead in a safe environment. I understand that Walkies with Jessie will have less control over my dog/s actions and I therefore accept full liability for any damage caused to or by my dog. I take responsibility for any disappearance of my dog and full actions of my dog whilst off lead.

Vet Bills

If your dog happens to injure itself or gets injured I am happy for Walkies with Jessie to take my dog straight to the vets to receive the treatment needed and am responsible for the vet bills from this.

All Animal owners to sign

I certify that I have read and understood the terms and conditions set forth and accept all terms, conditions and statements of this agreement. I understand that this agreement applies on every occasion where I deposit my dog with Walkies with Jessie.
